Why a sunless tan?
​
Suntans, sunburns and pre-mature aging can all be caused by overexposer to UVA & UVB rays causing damage to the cells DNA. This prompts melanocytes to produce more melanin.
​
With sunless tanning no UV damage occurs. The tan comes from DHA the only FDA approved color additive for sunless tanning. DHA only colors the very top layer of the skin and those cells are not live skin cells. Sunless tanning is recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation & The American Academy of Dermatology Association.

Sunless tanning fades when the skin cells slough off. This is why it is important to exfoliate prior to your tan and moisturize regularly to protect the longevity of your tan.
