24 hours before your tan

SunnaTan-Woman Exfoliating.jpg

Step one:

Shower, shave and exfoliate. It is very important you do this 24 hours before your tan.

Make sure NOT to use a body wash, soap or scrub that contains oil, it will interfere with the process and the outcome of your tan.

The best form of exfoliation is to use an exfoliating mitt or a wash cloth without any soap. Pay close attention to ankles, elbows & knees.

step two:

Just relax...

It is important you do not put any lotions, deodarants, oils or perfumes on the skin after exfoliating or before your appointment.

avoid leather seats

Before your initial rinse cover any leather seating with a towel.

wait to rinse

Make sure you allow your tan to develop before your first initial rinse. Your processing time will depend on which tan you choose, anywhere from 3-12 hours. Your tan will continue to develop for 24 hours, When you do rinse I recommend only using soap in areas you need to, avoid soap all over your body & rinsing with only water for the duration of your tan.

avoid any moisture

Please avoid any moisture prior to your first rinse. No dishes, laundry or yard work,

your welcome!

xoxo

moisturize

In order to protect the longevity of your tan it is imperative that you moisturize 2+ times a day after your initial rinse. You will need to use an all natural lotion, free of alcohol, artificial fragrances, parabens and sulfates. We have plenty of trusted all natural lotions/tan extenders available for you to purchase.

Avoid sweating

This may be hard for some of those Momma's who are dedicated to their fitness routines... I know, but once again this means you get a day off, so EMBRACE it! You deserve a day of relaxation

xoxo!
